Hello dear host family,
My name is Sheila, I am 28 years old, and I am from Kenya. I am a caring, responsible, patient, and hardworking person, and I truly enjoy being around children.
My experience with children is very meaningful to me. As the firstborn in my family, I practically helped raise my three younger siblings after my parents divorced. This taught me how to be responsible, patient, understanding, and attentive to children’s needs from a young age. I also do babysitting about twice a week, which has given me even more experience caring for children and understanding their different personalities and needs.
I would love to become an au pair because I see it as a wonderful opportunity to work with children while also learning about a new culture, meeting new people, improving myself, and exploring a new country. I am especially excited about the possibility of becoming part of a host family and creating a good relationship built on trust, respect, and understanding.
In my free time, I enjoy swimming and listening to music. I am also open-minded, adaptable, and willing to learn new things. I would be happy to help with childcare and reasonable household tasks and to become a positive and caring person in your children's lives.
