Hello Dear Host Family,

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and read my profile. I would be very happy to introduce myself a little more and hopefully get the opportunity to get to know your family.

My name is Tessa Bella, and I come from Uganda. I live with my mother and my four brothers. Family is very important to me, and growing up in a family environment has taught me the importance of love, patience, responsibility, sharing and caring for one another.

I would describe myself as a kind, responsible, patient, hardworking and open-minded person. I enjoy meeting new people, learning about different cultures and spending time with children.

I have gained childcare experience in different settings. I have worked in a nursery school, where I interacted with young children and helped with their daily activities. I have also participated in scouting activities with Cubs, where I had the opportunity to interact with and guide children. Additionally, I have experience caring for children within a family setting and helping with their everyday needs.

I am also currently completing my nursing training at Access Health Training Institute. During my clinical placements, I have had the opportunity to care for children in the paediatric department, assisting with their basic needs, supporting their comfort and wellbeing, and learning how to communicate with both children and their parents. My nursing training has helped me develop patience, compassion, responsibility and a caring attitude towards people of different ages.

I would love to become an au pair because I see it as an opportunity to combine my love for children with cultural exchange. I would be happy to support your family with childcare, participate in family activities, share my Ugandan culture and learn about your traditions and way of life.

I am currently learning German at A1 level and would love to continue improving my language skills while living with a host family in Luxembourg.

I hope to find a family where we can build a good relationship based on mutual respect, trust, understanding and communication. I would be happy to tell you more about myself and answer any questions you may have.
